Our Mission
Our mission is to provide Christ-centered higher education that equips Christian chaplains and ministry leaders for effective spiritual and pastoral care through Clinical Pastoral Education and the Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Supervision, while also providing non-credit continuing education and certification training for Christian Chaplains & Coaching.

Non-Academic Programs
We offer a growing number of non-credit bearing courses and certification programs. These courses are excellent, high quality, Biblically sound. Certification in Chaplaincy, Christian Life Coaching, Prison Ministry, and other areas is offered by Christian Chaplains & Coaching. These courses and programs are designed to support the Chaplains, Pastors, and Friends of Christian Chaplains & Coaching.
Our Purpose
The purpose of The Chaplains Academy is to honor Christ by educating and forming
Christian chaplains, pastors, and ministry leaders who integrate biblical faith, theological reflection, spiritual formation, and professional practice. Through rigorous academic study and supervised ministry experience, we prepare students to provide competent, compassionate, and ethical spiritual and pastoral care and leadership in both Christian and secular settings.
Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
We offer CPE from an unapologetically Biblical Christian Worldview. While teaching exclusively to the learning outcomes expected in the 29 Common Qualifications established by the Board of Chaplaincy Certification Inc. (BCCI), our learning outcomes also teach the 5 evangelical distinctives required by the National Association of Evangelicals Chaplain Commission - a Christian Board Certifying Agency.
Doctorate in Ministry in
Pastoral Supervision
We offer a DMin program that includes 4 courses in Master Christian Life Coach (MCLC) and CPE Supervisory Education (SUP). Each course is designed to prepare candidates for certification as a Master Christian Life Coach, Clinical Pastoral Supervisor, and Supervision of ministry departments. Candidates will learn how to teach CPE to the learning outcomes expected of the 29 Common Qualification of BCCI and the 5 evangelical distinctives of the National Association of Evangelicals.
